Union Square Goes Purple to Support the Walk to End Alzheimers

Two Union Square is going purple this weekend to support the Pacific Northwest Walk to End Alzheimers.

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s disease — the only leading cause of death for which there is currently no effective means of prevention, treatment or a cure. The event is traditionally held at Seattle Center and usually attracts around 1,500 people, raising over a half million dollars for local programs/services and our organization’s research efforts.
