Coronavirus Update March 23, 2020

In an effort to keep our building security team healthy as the number of Coronavirus infections in Seattle grows, we will be updating entry procedures for guests to One and Two Union Square.  This is in an effort to continue our policy of social distancing for the security team.

Effective Wednesday, March 25, 2020, essential guests and tenants without access cards will still be permitted, but they will need to use one of the following entrances to the buildings.  Please note the Two Union guest entries are different than those previously used in our restricted access policy:

  1. One Union Square Main Lobby
  2. 7th Avenue Drive Thru Entry
  3. East Garage Elevators (by Convention Center) Entry

Each of these locations have an intercom which can be used to call security, who can remotely let guests into the building.  We will be placing new signage so it is clear to guests where these entries are, and how to use the intercoms.  The parking garage will also remain open for essential building guests and tenants.

Tenants can continue to use the access card readers at this time.  Please note that if you are a One Union Square tenant, your card will only in work on a One Union Square card reader, and Two Union Square tenants can only use Two Union Square card readers.

We also wanted to notify you that we have received notification of two additional positive Coronavirus cases in the buildings.  In both of these situations, the tenants on the floors impacted were directly notified via telephone or email and janitorial performed a deep sanitation cleaning of these floors.  We will continue to notify tenants on impacted floors as we receive word of more cases.

We will keep you updated should there be any further updates.  Thank you for partnering with us as we move into this next phase of our efforts to keep Union Square healthy, and work together as a community in response to the Coronavirus pandemic!
